Dear Staff, Students, and Friends of Front Sight,
Most of you know that Front Sight has taken a very strong stand
against terrorism and hate groups. We also take precautions to
prevent our superior training to be used to the benefit of those
who would harm others. We began taking additional steps to
strengthen our ability to screen out such persons last June.
Oddly enough, about that same time a former Front Sight
instructor suddenly began to circulate hate-group propaganda to
some of our staff and students on the Internet and by rumor,
attacking both Front Sight and me personally.
We have attempted to avoid a legal confrontation with this man by
my making a personal call that he refused to accept, then written
requests that he stop his actions, and then formal written demand
that he stop. After each opportunity we gave him to stop, he
continued his attack, leaving us no choice but to take legal
action against him to defend our good name and reputation.
I am aware that he is attempting to establish his own firearms
training organization and has taken the irresponsible approach of
spreading false rumor, misrepresentation, disparagement, slander
and libel to damage the good work and outstanding reputation
Front Sight has established. In other words, we reasonably
believe he is lying for his own personal gain, to siphon off our
students and staff, and to interfere with our ability to serve
you and the Second Amendment.
Many of you have called asking why I had not taken action on
these attacks on the Front Sight organization sooner. We wanted
to be fair to this former instructor and give him every
opportunity to correct this injustice. We have made many efforts
to do so and unfortunately he has left us no choice but to
finally pursue legal avenues.
We took the time to investigate him and continue our
investigation. We have found that he has hooked up with a hate
group and is associating with people of known criminal background
and questionable ethics.
The real issue is this. Front Sight's expansion is phenomenal
and we are dedicated to helping you lead a more secure life,
better able to protect yourself and those you love. The Front
Sight organization has a fantastic future that will change the
way personal safety and guns are viewed in this country and

would care to attack Front Sight or me. We are attacked because
we strive for positive change-and we are doing it in a big way.
Those who cannot compete with us or who find our success (and the
success of others) to be unpalatable will always take cheap
shots. When that happens, we have the right to defend ourselves-
and we will.
