This doesn't make sense. This is not the Dean I know. His post seems
to be the rantings and ravings of a paranoid lunatic. I will attempt
to contact him to see "what" or "who" seems to be causing his
problems. If I can help him I will.
Last time I checked, there was no law in the US against belonging to
ANY religion. Still, if anyone cares, forward the
following information to set the record straight:
I was born into a Catholic family.
I was baptized Catholic.
I was confirmed Catholic.
I was married in the Catholic Church.
Monsignor Adams, the pastor of our Catholic Church signed my character
witness statement for the first firearms course I attended.
Up until my daughter was born, my wife was a choir director
at our Catholic Church and provided music for the Catholic mass at the
Veterans hospital.
She still provides music services for the Veteran's Hospital Catholic
Mass, but no longer has the time to direct two services.
My daughter was baptized Catholic and will receive her Catholic First
Communion when she reaches the proper age.
Any other children we might have in the future will also be baptized
Catholic.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that makes me Catholic.
Furthermore, Front Sight is in no way, shape, or form connected to or
affilated with ANY religion-- Catholic, Baptist, Buddhist,
Scientology, Mormon, Muslim, etc.
We have an instructional staff of nearly 200 and I cannot tell you
what religious backgrounds they have as it makes no difference to
Front Sight. We do not ask, we do not care.
We have over 20,000 students and I cannot tell you what religious
backgrounds they have. Again, we do not ask and we do not care.
Am I familiar with numerous religious practices? Of course.
Have I attended other religious services? Of course.
Have I attended Scientology services? Of course.
Does Front Sight use some of the business technology developed by L.
Ron Hubbard, the Founder of Scientology? Yes, and so do the following
companies:

Bell and Howell
Nissan
McDonalds
Getty Oil
Honeywell
Mattel
Ralph's
Rockwell
RotoRooter
Pacific Stereo
Sunkist
Winston Tires
Del Taco
Wherehouse
Broadway Department Stores

WORLD.
Hubbard Business Management is the most used system of management in
the world.
Does the use of Hubbard Business Managment Systems connect or
affiliate these businesses and governments (or Front Sight) with
Scientology? Of course not.
I believe this should handle any concerns anyone might have about any
"religious" or "cult" connection to Front Sight. The short answer is
"NONE."
