On a serious note; how should one handle the discourse on such bills? Should one go out of one's way to NOT call it a "stimulus", or would that be too confusing? It seems that by continuing to call it that, one in fact promotes the illusion/disinformation.

Sure you are correct. Spending does not stimulate anything. Spending INTELLIGENTLY will stimulate the economy. And people will always make better decisions than the government. But ultimately I think the best way to get a point across is to focus more on the issue and less on the semantics. This is the best way to convince the intelligentsia, who wind up setting policy anyways.

I'm definitely not advocating that semantics replace the issues; its just that its another small thing that should be done, I believe, to REINFORCE the issues.
