Comment ID: #1 Name: Grant Williams E-mail: grant.d.williams(at)gmail.com Couldn't that statement be countered with the following: "African Americans are thirteen percent of the U.S. population and on average create nearly twenty percent less wealth than non-Hispanic whites per capita. Though far less responsible for climate change, African Americans significantly benefit from its effects far out of proportion to their contribution to it. Health, housing, economic well-being, culture, and social stability are maintained from such manifestations of climate change. African Americans are also more vulnerable to higher energy bills, unemployment, recessions caused by lower credit ratings, fewer skills, and poor spending and savings habits; as well as receiving a greater return on investment from military operations designed to protect the flow of oil to the U.S."

She had some religious ephiphany that led her to her current status as a conservative Christian blogger (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Shawn_Barber) and her home page promotes a bunch of Christian blogs (see http://lashawnbarber.com/).
