Formal Logic

Sheldon Richman recently asked me:Can you recommend a good book or article on what's wrong with the last century's work in formal logic? I am curious about this, but don't want to waste time reading stuff that is better bypassed.I don't know of any good sources offhand, although I suspect that Brand Blanshard's Reason and Analysis might be on-point. (I haven't read it yet, although it's definitely on my list.) So... any recommendations?  E-mail Diana Hsieh
