Theodore Dalrymple on Islam

Theodore Dalrymple's article on the current trajectory of Islam, entitled "When Islam Breaks Down," is a bit old, but just as relevant and interesting today as in 2004. By the accumulation of little bits of evidence, it shows how and why Islam in its current form is so chaotic, brittle, extreme, and personally destructive.(Theodore Dalrymple is one of my favorite authors. His collection of essays Life at the Bottom: The Worldview That Makes the Underclass was fantastic, both in content and style.
