This summer, I've run almost daily, but usually just a mile or two. Although that exercise certainly helped my muscle tone, I wasn't losing weight. So I decided to ramp it up, despite my great distaste for running. On Thursday, I ran three miles. On Friday, I ran four miles. Today, I ran five miles.

I'm quite pleased with myself.
